Endowed Scholarships & Student Aid Fund
Endowed scholarships help AMBS equip students to serve wherever God may call them
You can make it possible for someone to study at AMBS who otherwise would consider it impossible.
Reduce the average tuition cost for students by 64%
Scholarships help significantly reduce the amount of tuition a student must pay. Anyone can give to an existing scholarship or endowment fund in any amount and at any time.

Together we’re serving the church by educating students to be leaders for God’s reconciling mission in the world.

Provide support for a growing constituency
New scholarships can be named for the founders or their family, in memory or honor of someone, or for a particular field of study. Criteria can be established to benefit students in an area of study, ministry skill or personal attribute.
We are seeking scholarships specifically for:
- International students
- Students currently underrepresented in our learning community
- Students called to rural or urban ministry
- Students who are new Anabaptists
- Students from established Mennonite Church USA or Mennonite Church Canada churches

“I was honored to be a recipient of the Darrell Fast scholarship. My seminary studies deepened my faith and helped me develop skills for pastoral leadership which have been vital for me as a new pastor. I value the opportunities I had to study and learn alongside students from many places around the world, and I appreciate the emphasis AMBS places on developing students’ intercultural competency. AMBS plays an important role in nurturing pastors and leaders called to serve the church. Thank you for supporting my leadership development!“
—Joyce Peachey Lind, MDiv, 2022, Harrisonburg, Virginia
“I am grateful to have received the Darrell Fast scholarship. Without the generous gift provided to me I would not have been able to enroll at this time. I’ve already gained a wealth of biblical knowledge. Thanks for making it possible for me and others to follow in Darrell’s footsteps.“
—Adrienne Scales, current student, New Haven, Connecticut
